Glenn Harrold has established himself as the UK's top selling hypnotherapist on audio with total sales of over 400,000 through his own Diviniti label. In the first half of 2004 he was the 7th biggest selling audio author overall, only outsold by the likes of JK Rowling and Agatha Christie. On 3rd January BBC Audiobooks released an exclusive new range of Glenn Harrold's popular hypnotherapy CDs tackling the problems of smoking, weight control, stress and sleep problems.
A graduate of the British School of Clinical Hypnosis, Glenn Harrold built up busy private practices in Kent and began producing his first hypnosis tapes in 1997, primarily to help support the work he was doing with clients. Highly experienced in his field, Glenn has treated thousands of patients for a wide range of problems such as anxiety, fears, self esteem, weight control and many other stress related illnesses. As a former musician Glenn had the recording and musical skills to produce a very unique and effective range of self-hypnosis CDs.
Glenn Harrold MBSCH Dip C.H, spent his formative years as a bass player in a punk band that eventually morphed into a pop group called Sugar Ray Five. Music aficionados will recall that in 1983, Sugar Ray Five beat 2000 bands to win £10,000 in the UK Battle of the Bands and a recording contract with EMI. Fame, however, was short-lived and the band split soon after. Glenn's interest in hypnosis came about after sharing the bill with a stage hypnotist. He took this interest further and studied for two years with the British School of Clinical Hypnotherapy as his motivation was to learn hypnosis to help and heal rather than entertain.
Along with managing three busy practices in Kent, Glenn combined his music expertise with his hypnotherapy skills and launched the first series of audios on his own label in 1997. He has since published over 20 titles and currently sells 100,000 units per year. Following on from this success, Glenn now produces an exclusive range of hypnotherapy CDs for BBC Audiobooks.
Glenn is coming more into the spotlight via various BBC media promotions but still makes time to occasionally see clients. His main focus these days is managing his UK publishing company which has a staff of 8 and the new US branch in Florida.
